About Me

The opportunity to be a Sex & Relationship coach has been a full circle experience.

My background is in Clinical Psychology. I always thought I would become a therapist. I have always believed in the tremendous value of therapeutic work.
However, my life presented some unique challenges when I became a mother, and my ability to work full time shifted as my priority became raising my child with special needs.

I DIDN’T KNOW HOW, I DIDN’T KNOW WHEN, BUT I KNEW THAT AT SOME POINT I WOULD RETURN TO A HEALING PROFESSION.

For 15 years, while raising my children, I enjoyed the perfect, flexible career as a sex educator. I spent those years learning, listening, and developing a deep understanding of the frustrations and desires so many of my clients experienced around sex and connection. I loved that I was able to help them but was left wanting more, wanting to continue to support them in their growth and fulfillment.

During this time I also had the opportunity to be trained in the work of the Feldenkrais/Anat Baniel Method. This somatically based work gave me a deep appreciation for the complexities and brilliance of the human brain and body, as well as an awareness of the power of non-verbal communication.

My full circle moment came about two years ago. I had these amazing, diverse experiences and knew there had to be a way to bring them together. I found my way to the Somatica Method and found the perfect combination.

I bring my years of experience in work and life to every session. I look forward to the opportunity to share it with you.
